Our Exhibitions

Since 2012 we have held an exhibition every year (except 2020 due to the Covid pandemic) in the summer in Alvechurch Village Hall. Our intention is to continue that in the future. Our exhibitions feature in the main art work completed during the previous 12 months by artists in the two groups and also includes some exercises to show how different people produce different works of art even though the subject may be the same. Many of the pictures are for sale and there is usually an area for art produced in previous years that is also for sale. Entry to exhibitions is free and refreshments are available at very reasonable prices.

Pam and the artists are very grateful to Kamal Khan and Spring View Care Limited, who have sponsored a competition for the artists every year since 2015. Kamal and Spring View Care Ltd (springviewcare.co.uk) run small care homes and have received the award for a Top 20 Recommended Small Care Home Group in the UK 8 years in succession from 2016 to 2023 by carehome.co.uk. The award is given to "the most recommended Care Home Groups in the UK" based on over 90,000 reviews over the previous two years from care home residents as well as their friends and family.

 

***Our exhibitions are normally held every July from Thursday to Saturday - open from 10-6 on Thursday & Friday and 10-5 on Saturday***
